Revision that starts from what you've been taught
No generic question bank. Everything comes from the notes you upload, so it follows your course and the way your teacher explains it.
Any notes, any subject
PDFs, Word files and photos, handwritten notes included. Biology, History, English Literature, Maths: if it's in your notes, ExamFlow can quiz you on it.
Practice questions in four formats
Multiple choice, true or false, short answer and extended answer. Choose the topics, the difficulty and how many questions, and add a time limit to practise under exam conditions.
Feedback on your written answers
Short and extended answers are marked by AI, which tells you what you got right, what was wrong and what you missed. The mark is indicative and clearly labelled as AI-marked.
Maths and science, step by step
Choose practical questions and solve problems in full. The feedback goes through your working step by step and shows exactly where it went wrong.
Flashcards with spaced repetition
Make 5 to 30 cards from any topic. Rate how each one went and the cards you struggle with come back sooner.
“Explain what I got wrong”
Scored under 70%? Your AI teacher explains the ideas behind your mistakes from scratch, with worked examples and exercises to try.
From exercise book to mock-ready in four steps
Upload your notes
Snap your exercise book with your phone or drop in PDFs and Word files.
Sorted by topic
Each document goes into the topic you choose, so you can revise one at a time or the lot.
Practise and get marked
Answer on screen (or print a blank copy for paper practice) and get your mark and feedback straight away.
Go back to your weak spots
Questions you get wrong are more likely to come back, and a study plan spreads your topics over the days before the exam.
Why use ExamFlow for GCSE and A-level revision
Most revision time goes on re-reading notes and highlighting, which feels productive but doesn't stick. What works is retrieval practice: testing yourself, getting things wrong and fixing them. The catch is that writing your own questions takes ages. ExamFlow does that part for you, from the notes and revision guides you already have, so your time goes on answering, not preparing.
Because the questions come from your own material, it works with whichever exam board you're on and whichever subjects you take, from GCSE Combined Science to A-level History. It won't hand you past papers or official mark schemes, so keep using those. ExamFlow fills the gap in between, with fresh questions on any topic whenever you need them.
Year 11 and Year 13 are heavy on extended writing. The AI marking on longer answers points out what's missing and what's inaccurate, and your AI teacher explains it in the tone you choose, from patient to demanding. Add flashcards for the facts and a study plan for the run-up to your mocks, and you have a revision routine you can stick to.
Frequently asked questions
Does ExamFlow work with my exam board?
ExamFlow isn't tied to any exam board. It writes questions from the notes, textbooks and revision guides you upload, so it works with AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC or any other specification. It doesn't include official past papers or mark schemes.
Can it mark essay-style answers?
Yes. Short and extended answers get an indicative mark from the AI, with feedback on what was right, what was wrong and what was missing. It's labelled as AI-marked: use it to improve your answers, not as a predicted grade.
Can I upload handwritten notes?
Yes. Take photos of your exercise book or upload PDFs and Word documents, up to 5 files at a time and 50 MB each. ExamFlow reads handwriting too.
Is it free?
You get a 14-day free trial with 30 pages of material and 40 credits, no card needed: enough for a summary, a set of flashcards and two practice tests on one topic. After that you can buy a one-off pack or a monthly plan. Prices are in euros.
Can I revise French or Spanish with it?
Yes. The app is in English, and your questions, summaries and flashcards come out in the language of your notes, so language revision works too.
